At a certain point we pitched the idea of having the little guy look like a sponge. But in the end they decided to go for a look that matched the original more closely.

Reboot of an icon.
We grew up with an iconic children's program on Belgian television called "Tik Tak". It had such an impact on us that we never stopped talking about it to this day. So when they asked us if we would like to do some animation for the reboot of Tik Tak we almost fainted. It was a pleasure working on this character we still remembered so vividly from our childhood. Back in the eighties this used to be a man in a very warm suit. We made him into a 3D character, but with a 2D look.Production: VRT
