Cannes Film Festival
We were very proud when Border was selected to be part of the Short Film Corner at the Film Festival in Cannes.
First design
This was the 2D design on which we based the 3D model.
First render
For reasons unknown to ourselves we started test rendering on the character that appeared last in the film.
12 Minutes About Peace:
One of the most imaginative projects to mark the centenary of the First World War is 12 Minutes About Peace, a collection of 12 one-minute animated shorts under the theme of peace. They were made by both emerging as well as established talents in Flemish animation. We were gratefull to be part of this, and made our minute about the absurdity of borders.Production : S.O.I.L.
